Cruze Farm in Asbury is home to both a pizzeria and an ice-cream place. If you love pizza and ice cream, this is the location for the highest quality of both treats. No exaggeration here! The Cruze family rears and milks their cows, so you’re guaranteed fresh-tasting flavors. If you’re not sure what pizza to order, go for Confundo (the mystery pizza). The Cowgirl’s Dream pizza and the Cheri Baby Supreme pizza are both big hits with customers as they are served, hot and the crust is just the right crunch. Gluten-free crust options are available too. Your children will love the kids-sized pan pizza.
Pizza Barn serves pies that are baked with fresh dough and ingredients about five miles east of their dairy farm, where the family’s dairy farming tradition began. The ice cream shop next door is located in a gorgeous Victorian home that dates back to 1893. Put in an order for pizza and kick back in the comfort of their indoor or outdoor seating areas. You can also order for pickup or delivery. They can accommodate the whole office, family, or group. 2. A Dopo Sourdough Pizza
- Address: 516 Williams St, Knoxville, TN 37917
- Phone: (865) 321-1297
Wood-fired pizza, gelato made in small batches, and Italian wine are the house specialties at this downtown Knoxville restaurant. In case you’re craving a slice of New York-style sourdough pizza, you can order one online and have it waiting for you at the curb when you get there. In this family-friendly pizzeria, there’s something for everyone, including vegetarian options. Enjoy some of the best pizza in Knoxville along with some beer and wine on tap.
Whether you get a Margherita or Prosciutto pizza or maybe a gelato to close out the evening, you are in for an amazing treat. I like that all the pizzas come slightly charred. It’s as though that’s their trademark. It doesn’t take away from the deliciousness though. Even if you’re a pizza purist, it’s hard to deny how incredible their pizzas taste, even the mozzarella pizza with homemade ingredients. Come for the pizza and stay for the lively atmosphere and great service.

3. Blaze Pizza
- Address: 113 N Peters Rd, Knoxville, TN 37923
- Phone: (865) 225-1839
Many people come here because the reputation speaks for itself, while a few come because they’ve heard that Lebron James is connected but end up falling in love with the food and the atmosphere. I fall into the latter group. Blaze Pizza is among the best pizza places in Knoxville, and my vegan colleagues can eat comfortably with me in a fun and welcoming environment. One reason that I think Blaze Pizza is better than many is the variety of toppings available. The head chef is nicknamed the pizza whisperer, and rightfully so because he’s skilled.
High-rise, cauliflower, and low-carb pizza crusts are all on offer. Whatever you order is completely customizable, so you can add whatever toppings you wish. Blaze’s pizzas are cooked at a high oven temperature and have a thin crust, so they only need a short amount of time to bake. Their pizza is good, even though it has a thin crust and is baked for a relatively short amount of time. The cheese is always melted to perfection, even if the crust becomes a little too burned, and the pie is served hot.

4. South Coast Pizza
- Address: 1103 Sevier Ave, Knoxville, TN 37920
- Phone: (865) 200-5818
Talk about great service and you will learn a thing or two at this establishment. Their pizza selections are vast, so even the pickiest eater will find something to please their palate. Bring your video-game-loving teens, although the delicious pizzas will draw them away from the game if only long enough to gulp a few slices. I like their long tables that let us share with a group or even a stranger without feeling awkward. By the way, the outdoor dining is just as comfy as indoors. Some people say the cheese pizza is the best, but I’m with the ones who prefer the Island Home pizza.
I like the consistency of the flavors. Whether you visited months ago and came back today, it’s the same great taste. You can never get bored with a drink order as the list is long and you can choose something new every time. Did I mention how delicious, fresh, and crunchy the Greek salad is? Try it, please! There’s free wifi and everyone is welcome there.

5. Harby’s Pizza & Deli
- Address: 3718 Walker Blvd, Knoxville, TN 37917
- Phone: (865) 688-5657
At Harby’s, you get wonderful prices, food, atmosphere, and service. The full package is not easy to achieve, so they are among the best pizza places in Knoxville. They made the top five list of the best pizza places in Eastern Tennessee, and here they are sitting at number five on our list, which speaks volumes.
Pop over to Harby’s Pizza and Deli for some Reuben pizza that (maybe with my bias and that of scores of other customers), is the best anywhere in the state. It is stuffed to the gills, bursting with flavor and I love it! Trying to avoid gluten? Prefer low-fat foods? You can get both at Harby’s Pizza and Deli.
If you’re looking for a great place to have a big party, Harby’s Pizza and Deli is it. The catering services of Harby’s are top-notch. This place offers takeout, delivery, and catering, so you may enjoy their delicious food without leaving the comfort of your own home. There’s ample parking for both drivers and riders. Whether you’re hungry in the early morning or prefer to eat a little later, they are conveniently open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I’ll secretly admit that there are many other delicious items on the menu, like the hummus and even their Greek salad, which is hands down the best.

6. Bruno’s Pizzeria & Grill
- Address: 6907 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919
- Phone: (865) 584-4900
At Bruno’s Pizza and Grill, you can get authentic, freshly made pizzas from Italy, whether you want to order one of their pizza specials or make your own. You can expect some of the best pizza in Knoxville here. Order some of their chicken wings and taste their unique sauce. In addition to seriously tasty calzones, endless innovations, plus incredible menu items you have to try, you need to experience their amazing customer service. By the way, The Magnificent Greek Pizza topped with mozzarella cheese, red crushed peppers, feta cheese, black olives, green olives, onions, and spinach will have you licking your fingers.
You all know how I am with dessert, and Bruno’s has this locked. They don’t say dessert! It’s called Bruno’s Sweet Touch. You’ll be totally satisfied from a rich classic cheesecake to a traditional Italian Tiramisu. You have burgers, pasta, and salad options too, which everyone says is great, but for me, it’s pizza and dessert, as they never fail to please. I like the simple, laid-back atmosphere and the way the food is presented, so they are one of the best pizza places in Knoxville.

7. Pizza Inn
- Address: 5420 Clinton Hwy, Knoxville, TN 37912
- Phone: (865) 357-7499
Pizza Inn is not referred to as America’s Hometown Pizza Place for no reason. They’ve had the tried and proven pizza creation technique down for over half a century. This buffet chain and pizzeria offer various crust options, along with desserts, salads, pasta, and more. They make the pizzas by hand, which is done fresh every day. Here you get the buffet, delivery, catering, or carry-out service.
Even though we can create our pizzas, nobody bothers as the options they present are wonderful. They include Spicy Asian Chicken, Chicken Bacon Ranch, Taco, Alfredo cheese, and many more. No time to get bored, and the servers are very patient and helpful. It’s all you can eat, so go hungry! There is a kids’ menu, the ambiance is excellent, and the place is overall family-friendly.

8. The Tomato Head
- Address: 12 Market Square, Knoxville, TN 37902
- Phone: (865) 637-4067
It’s a trendy American cafe bakery that serves pizza, beer, and wine alongside various healthy, hearty, and vegetarian options. While they have amazing pizza and other menu items to make your mouth water, people also love their coffee to stay alert, especially after the lunch break. The service is fast, and don’t forget to grab a delicious dessert on the way out. I like that the ingredients in meals come with distinctive flavors, so everything doesn’t taste boring or the same.
I recommend trying the hummus because you will order a few containers to go, no kidding! The tomato chipotle soup is like no other anywhere that I’ve tasted. The name of the place is quite becoming. While enjoying your meal, you’ll also like the music that helps to mellow the atmosphere. You get some of the best pizza in Knoxville right here. Try it and let me know what you think!

9. Pizza Palace
- Address: 3132 E Magnolia Ave, Knoxville, TN 37914
- Phone: (865) 524-4388
This is a pizza joint dating back decades and featuring pasta and pies in a diner-like setting plus a drive-in. Pizza Palace first served its customers on August 10, 1961, and no one who was there at the time could have guessed that the company would still prosper more than half a century later. They’ve stuck to the same recipes and standards for decades, so we always get the highest-quality items at the lowest possible prices.
When something’s great, why mess with it? Whether you order ground beef, mushroom, or super pizza, you will enjoy it. Pizza Palace is well-known across the entire Southeast due to the high quality and consistency of its menu items, including the hand-breaded onion rings, the legendary Greek salad, as well as the made-from-scratch pies. Please order spaghetti and meatballs just to taste the secret sauce and tell me if you’ve figured out what’s in it because I sure can’t.

11. Hard Knox Pizzeria
- Address: 4437 Kingston Pike, Knoxville, TN 37919
- Phone: (865) 602-2114
Hard Knox pizzeria prides itself as the city’s primary Neo-Neapolitan wood-fired pie creator. I’m inclined to agree. Maybe it’s the live band that boosts the chefs, or they could just be naturally talented. Either way, everything is darn good. I have a few recommendations, but let me just throw one of the two out there. The Barbed Wire pizza comes with bourbon reduction, jalapenos, applewood smoked bacon, smoked mozzarella, and local BBQ pork.
Just like that, I see you licking your lips. That’s how I felt! The Rocky Balboa is also off the chain with EVOO, oregano, red onion, green and red bell peppers, sausage, provolone, and red sauce. By now, you get the idea that it has a boxing theme, and you’ll love the mural that features some of the greatest, like Mike Tyson and Sylvester Stallone.

- Phone: (865) 692-4224
Before I get to the delicious pizza and other dishes, let me tell you that the inside is simple and cozy. I love the comfortable seats and overall atmosphere. The checkered floor brings off this diner vibe. Most customers, including myself, believe they serve some of the best pizza in Knoxville. Bella Roma Pizza is where you want to go for a tasty, well-thought-out dinner. This pizza parlor is grand for families because of its welcoming atmosphere and varied children’s menu. They have a free wifi hotspot, so you can stay in touch and online while you dine, and here I am trying to rhyme.
This joint is about as relaxed as it gets, and if you can’t dine out, their takeout and delivery services will solve that issue. In front of the pizzeria, there is plenty of parking on the street, and they offer secure, convenient bike parking. At Bella Roma Pizza, you won’t need to empty your (entire) wallet. Most lunches are very affordable. If you want a delicious pizza and a chill vibe, it is the place to go.
