- Address: 621 Pacific St, Omaha, NE 68108
- Phone: (402) 345-3438
As a long-standing Italian institution, they’ve been providing the locals pizza, bread, and other delicacies for quite some time now. The Goudarooni Double Crusted Pizza is a must-have, and it comes in various topping combinations, like vegetarian, broccoli, spinach, and beef. No matter if you stroll in or phone ahead, your order will be ready promptly. Their deli stocks a broad variety of exotic oils and vinegar, as well as freshly baked Italian bread and pizzas.
That’s why they’ve made it to the top of our list of best pizza places in Omaha. Authentic Italian meats, pasta, bread, cheeses, and more have been available from their bakery & pizzeria since 1919. Their selection is the most extensive in town. Call or stop by now to taste for yourself why customers have been coming to them for authentic Italian treats for over a century: they use baking expertise passed down through generations. The garlic bread is amazing; you can buy it raw to make at home.

2. Tasty Pizza
- Address: 1418 S 60th St, Omaha, NE 68106
- Phone: (531) 999-1246
Omaha is home to a family-run pizza shop called Tasty Pizza. They value their relationships with regulars and enjoy serving the Midtown area. Diners place their orders at a counter and find seats at their leisure. This establishment does not take reservations at this time. Everything on the menu can be taken away. Unique pizzas like bacon gouda are on the menu alongside the standard varieties. The pizzas at Tasty Pizza are made using all-natural, high-quality ingredients.
Vegetarian or not, you’ll drool over the veggie pizza topped with mushroom & onion, spinach, tomatoes, black olives, mozzarella, and Pizza sauce. Still, my other two favorites are the Hamburger With Mushrooms pizza and the Spinach Feta. You’ll thank me for this suggestion. If you didn’t get a pizza with vegetables, please try one of their amazing salads and grab a slice of mouthwatering chocolate cake to go or eat there if you still have space!

3. Caniglia’s A Mano
- Address: 13178 Lincoln Rd Suite 101, Omaha NE 68138
- Phone: (402) 917-7775
Authentic subs, salads, and pizzas done Sicilian-style are what you’ll get at this wonderful pizza joint. I’m a dessert-first type of person, so let me tell you straight up that the chocolate raspberry cheesecake is made in heaven and if you can’t leave space for it, eat it first. Take everyone with you as it’s a family-run pizzeria that offers a great family-friendly vibe.
The way their food is presented on the plate makes us feel like we’re not paying enough for such amazing service. The Sicilian nachos are Instagram-worthy! Everything is so you may get distracted taking tons of food pics. So be careful not to let your Sicilian pizza, waffle pizza, chicken garlic parm special pizza, or whatever you choose go cold.

4. Mangia Italiana
- Address: 6516 Irvington Rd, Omaha, NE 68122
- Phone: (402) 614-0600
This is a Pizzeria with a patio offering NYC-style pies, subs & pasta in a comfy atmosphere. The owners, Tony & Dana Constantino, know what’s up as they present the savory desserts first on their website to give us something more to look forward to. The blackout cake will do just that to you because it makes you transcend to another world. No exaggeration here! Service is always great, by the way, no matter how busy they get.
The Italian Beef pizza, as well as Shrimp Special pizza, are great. However, the Taco pizza knocks them all out of the ballpark. You will publicly groan after the first bite and not feel bad because others around you are doing the same thing. The Taco pizza is topped with lettuce, sour cream, black olive & tomato, green onions, onions, cheddar, and their cheese blend, seasoned beef, fresh salsa, and, of course, their homemade re-fried beans. That makes it one of the best pizza places in Omaha, in my books, and for many other customers.

5. Pizzeria Davao
- Address: 14220 Fort St 101-102, Omaha, NE 68164
- Phone: (402) 763-2375
This family-run pizzeria serves up Chicago-style pies in a spacious, casual setting with a full bar. All of the pizzas are cooked from scratch, in the traditional Chicago way, using only the finest ingredients and as many fresh, local, and organic ingredients as possible. Gluten-free options are also available. Corporate chain pizza can get boring, but this place is worth a visit or takeout order if you’re sick of the norm.
They’re not your average pizza joint; in fact, they’re family-owned and operated. Please take a seat and enjoy yourself! Omaha’s Pizzeria Davao serves a delicious pizza that the whole family may enjoy. The restaurant is child-friendly, so there’s no need to find a babysitter. This is a great place to bring the kids because everyone is accepted. Those who wish to dine there but would prefer to escape the weekend crowds should do so during the week. Get your meal to go if that better suits your needs. Pizzeria Davao is conveniently located close to several parking garages, making it a breeze to park there after a meal.

6. Mama’s Pizza
- Address: 715 Saddle Creek Rd, Omaha, NE 68132
- Phone: (402) 553-9270
Hey, this sounds like my sort of place – for the namesake alone!
Sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and traditional American fare are served at this long-running neighborhood chain. The space is huge, so everyone will feel comfortable no matter how large your group is. Maybe they’re trying to let the pizzas match the space because they’re so big, and the toppings are generous too. No one can complain about not being full. Did I mention that everything tastes great?
One of the three Mama’s Pizza restaurants is bound to have something of interest for sports fans in the area. They have a mix of all you need at the location, from Uno Hockey to Nebraska football. There’s also a memorial wall commemorating Omaha’s closed high schools. Their other locations in West Omaha and La Vista also celebrate various local teams and sports. Come for the pizza; stay for the fun times and great atmosphere that you’ll experience at Mama’s Pizza.

8. Piezon’s Pizzeria
- Address: 15605 W Center Rd, Omaha, NE 68130
- Phone: (402) 991-7437
Piezon’s Pizzeria does everything right, and I mean everything. They provide Omaha with cheesy bread, pasta, calzones, and to-go pizza. Their catering is usually efficient and affordable. Something special about the pie crust and sauce at this joint forced me to research their baking strategy. I like that all the items are affordable. They put a lot of time and effort into each part of your meal. It’s important to Piezon that you get a good return on your investment of time and money. Piezon’s is built on a bedrock of handmade dough. Daily production and ample proofing time guarantee superb bread dough.
When done, the dough is stretched by hand to create a thin crust in the New York manner. Piezon’s has teamed up with Rotella’s Italian Bakery to offer its consumers the finest gluten-free product.
They make the sauce with a mixture of garlic, salt, oregano, basil, and a secret ingredient. All of Piezon’s premium meats are expertly seasoned using secret family recipes, giving customers access to the one-of-a-kind flavor profiles that have made the company famous. Their low-fat cheese goes wonderfully with the topping, sauce, and dough of choice to create a well-rounded meal. They use Blodgett 1060 deck stone ovens, which produce just the correct amount of heat to crisp the great crust, melt the delightful cheese, and warm the wonderful toppings.

The pizza is always delicious, and the burgers are surprisingly good for a pizza joint. Omaha’s best-kept secret is the Pizza Pie Guys. If you want food prepared quickly yet still delicious, this is the pizza joint to visit. Finding a place that provides excellent food and service is difficult, but the Pizza Pie Guys have this down. Fact. Even the salads are amazing! They manage to give you a thin crust pizza that still has a crunch yet isn’t dry. By the way, it’s the best pepperoni pizza in town from one of the best pizza places in Omaha.

They can provide food for hungry kids and people who want to try something new. Their satisfied customers are their best form of advertisement, and they create almost everything themselves. They cater for corporate events and more, and no matter how large your order is, it will always be ready on time. When in Omaha, stop at Bernie’s Pizza Parlor and order a pie topped with anything your heart desires. This is the best restaurant in town if you’re seeking low-fat or gluten-free options. 11. Backlot Taphouse
- Address: 2110 S 67th St Suite 108, Omaha, NE 68106
- Phone: (402) 916-9581
Backlot’s special deep-dish, Detroit-style square pizza is a sure winner thanks to its cheese crust that’s caramelized and crispy, caramelized with sauce on top. Backlot’s Sicilian-style dough creates a fluffy foundation comparable to focaccia’s, making it an ideal vehicle for their signature toppings. Every Sunday between 10:00 and 1:00, they offer brunch, and your family will thank you for it.
Backlot offers more than just pizza, including traditional American fares such as stacked burgers, crisp salads, and light wraps. Combine it with domestic or regional beers, and you’ll be “thanking the Academy” for the pairing. Here you’ll have a lot of fun eating Detroit Style pizza and sipping some Nebraska beers in the center of Aksarben Village. The gluten-free crusts on offer are amazing.

12. Brick Oven Pizzeria
- Address: 624 S 72nd St, Omaha, NE 68114
- Phone: (402) 393-2270
It’s a neighborhood pizza joint serving creative pies, calzones & stromboli in easygoing surroundings. The toasted ravioli is a big hit because it tastes so good! Have vegan friends or family members, there are many options for them. Therefore, bring everyone along as the menu is vast. Can’t make it there? Delivery and pick-up options are available. If you can’t decide what to eat, just try one of their everyday couple, family, or party specials. They’re always good.
Not that you asked, but I know you want to. My two favorites are the taco pizza and the hot buffalo chicken pizza. Hot Buffalo Chicken Pizza comes with regular pizza sauce or Alfredo option, mozzarella cheese, and seasoned chicken breast strips dropped in their secret hot sauce. Meanwhile, the Taco Pizza is topped with chips & mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, and seasoned beef.

13. Villagio Pizzeria
- Address: 6922 N 102nd Cir, Omaha, NE 68122
- Phone: (402) 502-4400
This place offers both great pizza and entertainment. I’d recommend the Nettuno pizza, which comes topped with black olives, onion, anchovies, capers, and tuna. You won’t get any mozzarella, and that’s just fine.
Marc, with the help of his father Umberto, opened Pizzeria Villaggio in 1986 to provide the neighborhood with authentic Italian cuisine. You can get a wide variety of freshly prepared foods there that are sure to please any palate. Gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options are all available, and they use only the highest quality ingredients in their recipes.
Previously only available at Villagio Pizzeria, you may now order it delivered straight to your door and eat in the solace of your own home. It’s ideal for lazy weeknights when you don’t feel like whipping up a meal. It’s as simple as selecting delivery or pick-up, and they’ll handle the rest.

14. Noli’s Pizzeria
- Address: 4001 Farnam St, Omaha, NE 68131
- Phone: (402) 359-1802
You may get a slice or a complete pie of New York-style pizza at this industrially stylish bar and restaurant. The thin pieces of pizza influenced me served in New York City’s Italian pizza joints.
Omaha natives bring their dedication and high standards to the Blackstone neighborhood. In addition to the fresh, hand-made salads, the restaurant also offers premium slices. They combine “classical” and “craftsmanship” by highlighting limited-time offerings and, when possible, using locally sourced and seasonal ingredients.
They’ve worked with a local filtration company to deliver you city water because they claim New Yorkers will state, “The mystery behind the New York pizza slice lies in the water.” Whether it makes sense to you or not, they deliver on their promise of delicious food, and I’m good with that! Everything on the menu is picture-worthy, and you can rent their space for any type of event. I firmly believe this is one of the best pizza places in Omaha, no questions asked!
