Tom and Tora agreed to convey their appreciation to Sawyer Quattrociocchi as well as Annie Masuda, two former workers, by awarding them stocks in April of 2022. They’ve lately gone worker-owned and are producing some excellent pies. The Margheritas are delicious, the service is warm, and the prices are reasonable.

It was constructed using bricks from Mount Vesuvius. Currently run by brothers Giancarlo and Andrew Martino, this Phinney Ridge establishment serves authentic pizza Napoletana. The Martino brothers, who run Cornuto with a small staff, are known for their refined, uncomplicated cuisine and authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas.

To better hold heavy toppings like salami piccante, prosciutto di Parma, smoked mozzarella, or an egg-crowned carbonara pie, our crusts are slightly thicker than standard. The little dining area is dominated by a traditional wood-fired brick oven, and it conceals a spectacular rear patio. The Mezza luna Nutella, a calzone-like delicacy loaded with cocoa hazelnut spread and coated with fruit and powdered sugar, is not to be missed.

The toppings on these somewhat personal pizzas are generally typical, and the gluten-free dough selection is better than in many places. Visit for lunch or dinner and bring the family or go alone.
